haha... long time nvr update blog le... cos veri lazy... heez... hmm... den i haf to update alot today... hehe... okay... firstly, on monday, 5/7/04, we went to labrador park to do sketches... but unfortunately, it was raining heavily when we haven even reached the park... thus we were drenched thru even though we haf unbrella... and den as we were walking into the park, a car passed by and splashed the water on us... wah lau... damn suay man... wat a day to go out rite... esp a park where there are limited shelters... den after a while or so, the rain stopped but there was still a slight drizzle... den we started our day programme by gg ard to find an object to sketch... it was hard to sketch as the water droplets kept dripping frm the trees onto our butter paper... we were also feeling uncomfortable with our clothes and shoes wet thru... yucks... heez... den the second part of our programme was to find a scenery to draw with ur grp... but the scenery must show if its eco- friendly anot... den we chose the sea view so as to show tat the ships and refineries are causing air and water pollution... it was veri hard to draw as the view is so far so tat we cannot make a detailed drawing... thus i oni drew the outline of wat i saw... and i felt tat my drawing like pri one drawing... haiz... my drawing sux man... haiz... den after tat it started raining again... den later the tutors came and told us tat we can go home now as the programme was cancelled cos of the rain... wah lau... den we were stuck in the rain... hence we waited for a while b4 moving on to go home... the programme was quite fun but its just the bad weather tat spoilt everything... heez... den for second day, tuesday, 6/7/04, we went to the ura centre near chinatown... the tutors gave us a list of tasks to complete: take photos of ura centre, take photos and sketch "the giant coin" and windows of shophouses, interview the shop owners and finding the place where old people usually hang out, which is chinatown complex... we took our time to complete the tasks... my grp also went to see the exhibit on southern ridges bridge design competition... hehe... the models they made was damn nice man... so gd... wonder if i can make this kind of models after completing my course... heez... still a long way man... haha... den we finished the tasks given to us veri fast and took alot of fotos as we wanted to use up the film and go and develop it since its a disposable camera... after we finished, we called my tutor and he asked us to take a foto of our last destination and we can go home le... wah lau... i feel tat they veri wat leh... always abandoned us and leave on their own... wah lau... tot we haf to meet them at the last destination... haiz... den after tat we went back to sch as it was still early... we walked ard the cca booths and went to develop our film... den finally signed up for taekwondo which was wat i wanted... its just tat the booth din put taekwondo and i haf a hard time finding it... heez... folllowing tat we went home le... on wed, 7/7/04, we haf to tink of a performance and rehearse it... hehe... den jonathan suggested making music with bamboo sticks... den we agreed on this and started to try to brainstorm on our formation and the beats... our tutor, mr chandra help us alot on the beats and even help us find bamboo sticks le... den after tat peiye, lydia and azmi tot of a better introduction and make some changes to the original music using dustbins... heez... we rehearse until quite late ard 630pm although we were supposed to end at ard 5pm... hehe... was quite fun hitting the rhythm using the bamboo sticks... and it was the first time our class did sth together... hope this did help to make us more united... heez... den we went home feelin veri tired... hehe... den on the fourth day, thursday, 8/7/04, the day of the competition for the divison of architecture which includes interior design and landscape archi students, we won one of the top three prizes which is worth 50 dollars... hehe... nvr expected it cos the other grp's performance of dance and skit was veri interesting and entertaining... and somemore, another grp also create music using chairs and all tat but they were more creative as they used chairs, bottles and metal strips... so i tot we haf no chance le cos they more creative and innovative wat... but in the end both of our classes won... heez... not bad sia... hehe... DEBAMBOO (our band name) ROX man!!! hehe... den they even provide us with lunch... buffet leh... hehe... the folllowing day on friday, 8/7/04, damn suay lor... woke up late... den haf to take cab to sch tinking tat i can reach there on time... but then wah lau... the roads are jammed and it cost 20 dollars lor and somemore i still late lor... it took the same amount of time as taking e mrt lor... but the worst thing was the cab took me to sp sports complex... den i went in to ask where's the workshop den they say the campus is in front... wah lau... den in a haste, i took another cab to sp concourse and ran to my workshop... wah lau... den when i reached the design studio, they told me it was changed to 10 pm and they just noe it... wah lau... damn suay leh... waste my money taking cab... wah lau... i never gg to take a cab to sch le... even if im late... wah lau... damn suay... haiz... den we wrote reflections for our drawings and display our whole grp's work on the tables... den we walk ard looking at other grp's work too... tats the end of the day's programme for us... hehe... den at nite at 7 pm... went taekwondo with sy... fun man... hehe... did more than 500 kicks lor... wah lau... damn tiring... but we felt the effect of the exercise straight away as we try stretching again... feel tat i become more flexible le... hehe... gd exercise sia... my muscles are aching now... hehe... dman pain man... its painful when walking ard also... heez... but tink i joining this bah although its quite ex... 20 dollars for training, 5 dollars for the club's fund and 15 dollars for the grading exam... hehe... and maybe another 40 dollars to buy the uniform... haiz... broke le... but its worth it if i learn the skill bah... hehe... = )... all in all, the first week's program for my course known as paradigm shift was quite fun... although it was a honeymoon period, it was a gd experience for us esp when we are science students... we learn to look at things frm diff views and tat there is no right or wrong in archi cos diff pple haf diff views... diff pple also can draw the same object in a diff ways cos they tink and feel and express differently... and there is also no end and no definite answer cos even though the buildings haf been built, pple will always comment and criticise it so tat we can make changes to improve it... heez... = )... hehe... the actual lecture will start next week and we will be given our first project... hehe... quite excited cos first time gg to start my course seriously now... heez... hope i will haf fun and like my course... hehe... = )

today was a real busy day... went to collect my o level cert at ard 12 noon with sy... den rush to sp to collect my architectural stationary... after tat went to east coast park wif telematch frens... some of the CADC seniors came but they nvr realli play with us... so its like tink its quite boring for them bah... the bad thing was i leaked out the birthday surprise for clive and rainie in front of rainie... i was like still blur blur when he yi and teck ming started to ahem... den i finally realise and whoops... haha... den we went there to play volleyball, play water... some of them went cycling but i did not follow as i did not noe how to cycle... it was fun playing volleyball... long time nvr play le.. haha... den went to prepare water bombs with darren, joosan and he yi... we played a bit of heart attack after preparing... den after tat prepare the cake and whipped cream to smash the birthday boy... but not the gal cos we din want to dirty the gal... gal mahz... must be clean... haha... when all was ready and everyone was back... we started to sing birthday song and all tat... den clive was like covered with whipped cream all over and his face was full of cream as one of the CADC senior, janice, smashed the cake full of whipped cream on his face... haha... de we all aimed the water bombs at clive at first but later darren and he yi also being aimed... haha... fun sia... den after tat, rainie, jie qi, clive and he yi went to bathe... the rest of us went toilet to clean up abit oni... after tat we settled down and played truth or dare... its the best game to noe each other better... haha... we ask questions like who u r interested in now??? and wats the most touching thing a guy did to u or u did for a gal???... tat kind of thing... haha... fun sia... hope we will haf more outings lidat and chance to noe each other better... YEAH!!!... haha... and thanks to darren for organising this fun outing for us... haha ... thank you!!!... mood: = D

today went for flag day at jurong east in the morning at 830am, there were very little pple there lor... at first we collected in the bus interchange... but biz was bad cos first, there were little pple as most of them went for work already,(somemore the place so ulu, oni got working pple and residents) and second, mani sp students were also standing there so most of them already donated... den we went to the ntuc area to collect... biz was not bad cos the shoppers usually haf a lot of change wif them after purchasing their groceries... so they will donate them if u approach them... haha... and there were also quite alot of pple walking ard there so they will also donate too... den after tat we went for lunch at kfc for 1 hr... den back to work at ard 12 noon... haha... this time we covered the area outside the shopping centre... biz was not bad also... haha... den got eat snake for a while... hmm... half an hour... haha... cos leg veri suan le and im tired standing under the hot sun... haiz... den we stop at ard 2 pm... waited for everyone to gather and den went back to sch to count the money... following tat, we went home le... everyone was like so sleepy and tired le... haha... zzzZZZZ... this was my second time doing flag day... the first time was not bad as my frens and i went to the market place where alot of aunties will donate small change to us... but this time round it was much harder as the crowd was smaller and there were not much crowded places to collect... so damn tired... haiz... tink i will dream of " please make a donation, this is the president's challenge 2004, ur donation will benefit 36 charities... thank you and haf a nice day.." haha... mood: dozing off le... haha... = p
